A Message from the Founders

We’re proud to welcome you to the Florida PPEC Coalition—a unified effort to raise the bar for prescribed pediatric extended care centers across our state.

Florida’s PPECs provide vital, life-sustaining care for children with complex medical needs, yet challenges remain. Access is inconsistent. Reimbursement rates lag behind other leading states. And quality standards vary depending on where you live.

We formed this coalition to bring together PPEC providers, healthcare professionals, and advocates with one shared goal: to ensure every medically fragile child in Florida gets the care they deserve—at the level they deserve.

We’ve already seen the power of collaboration in states like Texas. Now, it’s Florida’s turn to lead—not by following, but by setting a new bar for excellence, access, and accountability.
